Volkswagen has chosen Sofico’s Miles platform to manage the fleet contracts of Volkswagen Pon Financial Services NL (VWPFS).
The joint venture between Volkswagen Financial Services and Pon Holdings BV in the Netherlands manages 48,000 retail finance contracts, and 75,000 for fleet car contracts.
The roll-out of Miles began in November 2015, in a series of steps that began with VWPFS’s white label proposition Autocash, before moving into its captive finance companies.
Sofico says VWPFS has completed the latest phase of the deal, and has migrated its retail contacts to the Miles platform, replacing three systems with one system.
Marc Overgoor, director of operations at VWFPS said: “We now flat to use this expertise we gained through the retail project and extend that to implementing Miles on the fleet contracts side of our business.”
It is expected that the fleet project will be completed by autumn 2018, and VWPFS’s 75,000 fleet contracts will have been migrated by this point. The Miles platform may be used to manage mobility service products, according to Sofico.
