technotrans, a technology company headquartered in Sassenberg, Germany, has received a significant follow-up order from a European electric bus manufacturer to supply battery thermal management systems (BTMS) for multiple e-bus series. The order, valued in the double-digit million-euro range, exceeds the scope of previous agreements and fully covers the manufacturer’s BTMS requirements for 2025.
Michael Finger, CEO of technotrans SE, said the renewed order reinforces the company’s market position and highlights the trust placed in its technology. “By committing to us at an early stage, the customer underlines the strategic relevance of our solutions and our leading technological expertise,” he said.

The latest agreement builds on an ongoing partnership. technotrans originally secured a major contract with the manufacturer in May 2023, followed by a subsequent order in late summer 2024. Under the new deal, technotrans will continue supplying energy-efficient cooling systems to three e-bus production sites in France and the Czech Republic.
BTMS solutions play a critical role in maintaining optimal battery temperatures, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electric buses.
