British Car Auctions (BCA) and TC Harrison Group have agreed on a three-year exclusive remarketing agreement.

Starting this month, this partnership will see approximately 2,000 vehicles remarketed online annually through BCA’s digital platforms, namely BCA Online and the BCA Buyer app.

The stock will be located at BCA’s Bedford and Nottingham centres.

TC Harrison vehicles will be offered with a BCA Assured report and pre-sale preparation using BCA’s Grade Enhancement services.

Most vehicles come with a V5 and service history, along with warranted mileage, the BCA said. Older vehicles will include a BCA Essential Check.

TC Harrison utilises BCA Dealer Pro to appraise, value and allocate stock, streamlining its part-exchange processes.

Founded in 1931, TC Harrison Group is said to have grown into one of the UK’s “largest” privately owned motor groups.

It employs around 600 people across 17 locations, generating an annual turnover of approximately £400m ($505.8m).

The group serves more than 200,000 customers, focusing on motoring, construction, and vehicle leasing needs.

TC Harrison Group CEO Chris Cornell said: “BCA continues to enhance and improve its range of innovative remarketing programmes that maximise digital engagement and will generate the best possible buying power for our stock.

“This new partnership will deliver an efficient, sustainable and profitable remarketing platform to support TC Harrison Group’s continued growth.”

BCA CCO Craig Purvey said: “TC Harrison Group is a highly successful family business that has grown through a consistent focus on great service and innovation and this three-year remarketing programme means our buyers will continue to enjoy exclusive access to the vehicles they offer via BCA Online and the BCA Buyer app.

“The weekly sales programme delivers a great selection of attractive and desirable stock and we work closely together to ensure we provide the range of remarketing services that fully supports TC Harrison Group’s part-exchange activity.”

BCA recently launched a battery health grading service for electric vehicles (EVs) to enhance buyer confidence in purchasing EVs.

This move follows a record number of used EV sales, projected to exceed 40,000 units in the coming year.

The Battery Health Grading system provides a clear view of an EV’s traction battery condition, grading it from A to E.
