Stellantis has expanded its collaboration with Mistral AI to integrate AI across its enterprise to enhance vehicle engineering and in-car experiences.

Under this partnership, Stellantis plans to leverage Mistral AI’s expertise in large language models and AI-driven automation to bolster data analysis, streamline development processes, and improve customer interactions.

The companies will focus on developing an AI-powered in-car assistant, which could offer real-time, conversational support to drivers.

This in-car assistant will be developed to enable drivers to interact with their vehicles using natural language, functioning as a voice-enabled user manual.

Customers will be able to inquire about vehicle features, troubleshooting, or warning indicators and receive immediate, conversational guidance from the assistant.

The assistant will be continuously updated and adaptable to various Stellantis brands and models, the company said.
