Santander Consumer Finance (SCF) has been selected by Yamaha Motor UK as its finance provider from January 2019, taking over from Black Horse.

The contract will see SCF providing a range of retail and wholesale finance facilities, across Yamaha products including the Motorcycle, Marine and All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV).

Headquartered in Woking, Surrey Yamaha Motor Europe UK has 300 dealers and distributors across Britain. Santander Consumer Finance employs 600 people and is based from in Redhill, eighteen miles from Woking.

Yamaha Motor UK have recently introduced models such as the MT-07 and MT-09 motorcycles, and the Kodiak ATV. Yamaha’s USA division will offer wholesale financing for used vehicles through a captive branch from December this year.

Last month SCF expanded its personal contract hire business through agreements with Mazda and Volvo.
