
British Car Auctions (BCA) made a record turnover of £23m, selling nearly 1,700 vehicles at its Nottingham site during the third week of March.
The auction centre sold nearly 200 cars on Tuesday 19 March, over 340 on the Wednesday and nearly 300 on the Friday. On top of this the team sold a record 848 vehicles on the Thursday with a combined special online sale and Top Car sale.
Robin Wilde, general manager at BCA, said: "I would like to thank our seller customers for providing such a sparkling selection of vehicles during for this record-breaking week and our buyers for supporting the BCA Nottingham sales programme so strongly.
"This really was a team effort with support from BCA Measham and Bridgwater, the BCA Live Online sales team and of course, our colleagues who marketed and promoted the sales, prepared and valeted the vehicles and managed.
