Logistics specialist NX Group has renewed its partnership with Asset Alliance Group, taking delivery of 12 new DAF XG 530 trucks as part of a wider fleet refresh.

The new vehicles, supplied on two-year contract hire agreements with full repair and maintenance packages, were pressed into service in late 2024. They are now operating from NX Group’s Crick depot, close to the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal.

Neil Powell, Managing Director at NX Group, said the company’s relationship with Asset Alliance Group dates back to 2012, when six vehicles were first supplied. He described Asset Alliance as a “reliable” partner with a “proactive attitude” that supports NX’s strategy of forming “lasting partnerships with customers and suppliers”.

Powell added that short lease deals suit the business model, enabling NX Group to maintain a modern fleet and “minimise costly additional maintenance or excess mileage charges”.

The agreement was managed by Stuart Sadler, Business Development Manager for the Midlands and South East at Asset Alliance Group, who said it had been “a pleasure” to support NX Group’s growth and development.

NX Group currently operates a fleet of more than 30 commercial vehicles, including box-sided trucks from 18-tonnes up to 44-tonne tractor unit and trailer combinations. Established in 2010, the company provides highly secure supply chain solutions to sectors including technology resellers, fashion retail, gaming, e-sports and home goods.
