MOTORS has relaunched Cazoo as a dedicated used car search platform, now serving as the leading brand within the network.

The launch comes after MOTORS acquired the Cazoo brand in June 2024 and is part of a major investment strategy aimed at competing with the market leader.

With a catalogue of more than 230,000 dealer listings, the MOTORS website will continue to play a crucial role within the growing network, which also encompasses eBay, Gumtree, and Parkers.

Expanding on the success of the Cazoo mobile app—introduced just a month after the acquisition and already surpassing 400,000 downloads—the new website is expected to strengthen the brand’s digital presence.

Cazoo’s branding has been updated while preserving its distinctive and recognisable identity, according to the press release.

MOTORS CEO Barry Judge said: “This is a new start for the Cazoo brand which is now a dedicated marketplace. For the first time, there is a real challenger brand in the sector giving dealers more choice and a credible alternative for their vehicle advertising.

“Cazoo is one of the most recognised automotive brands by consumers in the UK, which is why we wanted it in our portfolio. We are turning it into a car buying destination of choice and a powerful advertising platform for our dealer partners.”

Judge stated that the new website has been built from the ground up to cater to both dealers and buyers. It draws on MOTORS’ 17 years of expertise in managing a marketplace while incorporating advanced, scalable technology to deliver consumer leads directly to retailers.

He added that the launch of the Cazoo app last year demonstrated strong consumer engagement, with high conversion rates and a steadily increasing number of downloads.

During the launch phase, dealers with multisite advertising packages will be featured on Cazoo at no additional cost, giving car buyers instant access to used car inventory from more than 5,000 retailers.

In the coming months, a series of ongoing website and app upgrades will introduce new features and tools.

Additionally, MOTORS said it is committed to sustained investment in marketing to expand audience reach and generate leads for dealers.
