British Car Auctions (BCA) has sold a 2012 registered McLaren MP4-12c supercar from its Blackbushe site as part of an auction of high-value and prestige cars.
The carbon black British supercar, made by the Formula One World champions, sold for £127,000 and had just 6,400 miles on the clock.
The car was sold along with a bevy of other exotica including a Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S, which sold for £40,200, a pair of 2011 Bentley Continental GTCs sold for £83,000, and a 2013 registered Jaguar F type which fetched over £62,000.
Tim Naylor, spokesperson for BCA, said: "The McLaren was the star of the show, it generated a huge amount of interest from buyers not just in the UK but from Europe and further afield."
Naylor added: "The high-end prestige and sports market has a strong following with buyers and we have seen lots of interest in high value vehicles during 2013 with bidders prepared to invest six-figure sums for the right vehicle."
