Marsh Finance has rebranded its business-process outsourcing service Marsh FM (Facilities Management) as Marsh Custom.
The company name for the Rochdale-based finance house’s white label operation, which passed 5,000 loan arrangements with manufacturers and dealers in late 2012, will remain as Marsh FM LLP.
In a company statement, Marsh cited the example of its work with Stoneacre to run its own subprime finance portfolio, saving the 29-site dealer network time and money to begin financing cars while meeting all compliance issues.
At the time of the agreement with Stoneacre in April, Andrew Marsh, managing director of the company, explained the dealer group was "now able to exploit new niche opportunities for selling more cars" and add an income stream using Marsh’s "skills, knowledge, expertise and risk management".
Marsh is advertising Marsh Custom with access to a £1m lending facility with a UK bank, zero start-up costs, "constantly refined" scorecard and predictive underwriting, aimed at large dealer groups, car supermarkets, manufacturers, investors and banks.
"We feel that Marsh Custom reinforces the message that we can customise and bespoke a financial solution to meet the needs of our partners," said Marsh. "All our relationships are partnerships and we base our fees around the idea that it has to work for both parties."
