Manheim Auction Services has renewed its partnership with Santander Consumer UK, extending a more than two-decade-old relationship.

Under the new three-year agreement, Manheim will sell over 4,500 vehicles annually through its auction lanes on behalf of Santander Consumer UK. The partnership covers a wide range of vehicle types, including cars, vans, and motorbikes.

Alongside remarketing services, Manheim will continue providing refurbishment support as part of a relationship that has grown significantly since it began in the early 2000s, according to a press release.

Sam Panayides, Sales Director at Cox Automotive Europe, said: “We pride ourselves on building long-lasting relationships with customers across our business. Having worked alongside the team at Santander Consumer for many years, we are incredibly proud to continue this long relationship, which already spans over two decades. Our well-established online and physical buyer base coupled with an extensive network of auction sites across the UK positions us well to manage Santander Consumer’s national vehicle volumes.”

Ian Whittaker, Operations Director at Santander Consumer UK, added: “Manheim offers us unique capabilities, bringing refurbishment and auction services together with an impressive national network of sites. Having delivered an excellent service to our business for 20 years, we look forward to continuing this partnership into the future.”

Vehicles will be sold across Manheim’s national auction network, including sites in Bristol, Colchester, Manchester and Washington.
