Leasing.com has renewed its partnership with Autovia, formerly Dennis Publishing, to provide leasing offers to customers through its BuyaCar website and Auto Express brand.
The deals will be available on a BuyaCar’s channel, providing visitors with offers and linking them to Leasing.com’s advertising partners. In parallel, Auto Express will run Leasing.com digital ads and an exclusive leasing deals widget on the leasing pages of autoexpress.co.uk.
The announcement comes at a time when the leasing sector continues to grow despite the pandemic, as consumers look to save money but upgrade their vehicles. Leasing.com saw a 16% increase in enquiries in March year-on-year and a 245% increase in April versus April 2020 – which was during the first national lockdown.
In the wider new car market, demand for car finance has remained buoyant even if car sales volumes have fallen. Latest statistics from the Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) show that nearly 93% of private new cars sales were bought using either Personal Contract Purchase, Personal Contract Hire or Hire Purchase in the last 12 months.

Recent data from Leasing.com found that Volkswagen has overtaken Audi as the most popular manufacturer on the company’s platform, driven by the popularity of the Golf and the Tiguan.
The vehicle that attracted the most enquiries on the platform in March was the new Vauxhall Corsa, overtaking the Audi A3. As a result of the model’s popularity, the British manufacturer rose to sixth on the manufacturer chart – having previously only reached a high of ninth since January 2020.
