Alan Smith has joined car finance broker
Jigsaw Finance as dealer development director from 250-site dealer
network Pendragon, where he was group F&I manager.

Smith’s appointment is part of Jigsaw’s aim to
cement its work with AM top 200 dealers and complement its existing
dealer base, according to sales director Tim Whaley.

Whaley said Smith’s role would be “assisting
with the added value in the showroom” and add to the “transparent
relationship with senior level management in business.”

Talking to Motor Finance about the
changes at Jigsaw and in the broker market, Whaley said the company
was “trying to be more of a consultant to the business. Unless
you’ve got your online strategy correct, you’ll struggle.”

The appointment is the second significant
personnel change of late at the broker with
Kurt Bradbury recently moving to DSG Financial Services
as
development director.

Further comment and analysis of the
changing broker market will be published in the
September issue of

Motor Finance

magazine
