The Vauxhall Corsa has been the most popular used car to date this year, according to technology provider iVendi’s Car Finance Checker tool.
This was followed by the Ford Focus in second place, with the Vauxhall Astra, Ford Fiesta and Vauxhall insignia rounding out the top five.

Other popular cars included the Audi A3, the BMW 1 and 3 series and the Volkswagen Golf.
IVendi’s Car Finance Checker was launched in 2013 and uses lender criteria to enable customers to check the likelihood of receiving approval for finance.
James Tew, chief executive officer at iVendi said: "These are the most popular cars for which customers have gone online and checked themselves for potential finance eligibility on car portals, and dealer web sites.
"With a spread of mainstream, semi-prestige and prestige models, it shows how online car financing and retailing is really starting to take a grip in all parts of the market and for all kinds of dealer."
