Free2Move Lease, the wholly-owned mobility and leasing subsidiary of PSA Group, has made an appointment to the newly-created role of UK Commercial Director.
Mark Pickles will take on the position from his current role as marketing director for Peugeot UK. Pickles has worked at the PSA Group in a number of senior roles since joining in 2000.
Pickles’ experience includes spells as parts and service director, head of retail sales, and he was formerly responsible for used vehicle operations. Prior to joining PSA, Pickles worked in the retail sector with dealership group Hartwell, where he undertook a number of dealer management roles.
In his most recent role as marketing chief at Peugeot, Pickles oversaw an overhaul of the brand, in preparation for the launch of a range of SUV products during the past two years.
Pickles will report to managing director Duncan Chumley.
Having launched in January 2017, combining the former Citroen Contract Motoring and Peugeot Contract Hire businesses, Free2Move Lease claims to be the seventh largest leasing company in the UK.
