Stoneacre Motor Group, the 29-site car dealer network, has re-launched its website, with multiple pages dedicated to finance.

Among the site’s top-level navigation is a section dedicated to finance and insurance, explaining finance, subprime finance and commercial finance. The section also includes an enquiry form and FAQ section; a rundown of PCP, HP and PCH; a video explaining the finance procedure; and a listing of Stoneacre’s lenders, including its own subprime operation.

Shaun Foweather, managing director of Stoneacre, said the website was rebuilt from scratch in response to the "sheer potential of the internet," with the Group seeing "online enquiries rocket by nearly 300% over the past six months".

The site – www.stoneacre.co.uk – was designed by the Group’s in-house team of developers and online media specialists.

Its used car section includes vehicle specification and technical information supplied by CAP and has been designed for ease of navigation. It also allows for both new and used cars and offers on them to be compared side-by-side.

Foweather estimated half of the Group’s web traffic was now from tablets and smartphones, up by a fifth on the previous year, and the redesigned site is fully responsive, meaning its display will change to fit desktop or mobile screens. The choice to be fully responsive, instead of develop device-dedicated applications, was one which car finance tech provider iVendi has said dealers are increasingly in favour of.
