International law firm DWF has appointed litigation partner Ricky Cannon to its debt recovery and finance litigation business in its Glasgow office in Scotland.
It has also hired Neale Tosh as an associate in the same team.
Both joined from Brodies where they both concentrated in business disputes and asset recovery.
Cannon has a particular interest and focus on motor and finance litigation and will work closely with national head of finance litigation John Perez on developing the practice into a market leading finance litigation offering across the UK and secure a larger proportion of the finance litigation market nationwide.
He has more than 16 years’ experience and has worked on a wide range of litigation including commercial litigation, finance litigation, debt recovery and insolvency. He regularly provides support to banks, asset finance lenders, financial institutions, utility companies, insolvency practitioners, debt purchasers, companies and individuals pursuing or defending claims for the recovery of debts and assets.
Tosh specialises in debt and asset recovery and has particular experience in vehicle finance litigation, volume debt recovery and personal and corporate insolvency.
