Carwow Group, an online marketplace for buying and selling cars, has announced the expansion of its consumer-to-business (C2B) “Sell My Car” service to Auto Express readers.

The integration will allow private sellers to list their vehicles on Auto Express, with these listings being featured in Carwow’s daily online auctions, attracting bids from up to 5,500 dealers.

The move is expected to provide dealers with access to a greater volume of used car stock and enable them to engage with new customer segments.

Earlier this year, Carwow acquired Auto Express magazine, its associated website, and sister publications Evo, Driving Electric, and CarBuyer, from automotive publisher Autovia.

Auto Express head of digital content Steve Walker said: “Simply enter your registration and receive a free valuation on your car. If you decide you want to sell, just upload some images of the car with its key details and let Auto Express Sell My Car take over.

“We advertise your car to our huge dealer network and all you have to do is sit back and wait for the highest bid to arrive. If you decide to accept the bid, the dealer will be in touch to arrange collection of your car and payment.”
