The Range Rover Evoque is now the most popular vehicle for luxury car finance company, Bridford Financial Solutions.
Since the launch of the Evoque in September, Bridford has funded an average of 10 units a month, with finance passing the £1 million pound mark back in November 2011, and now standing at £3.5 million.
The most popular derivative is the 190bhp 2.2 litre Dynamic model, which accounts for 60% of Bridfords finance arrangements.
Owner of Bridford, Tim Marlow suggested that sales exceeded expectations, even for this popular model: The Evoques popularity was widely expected and theres always an initial surge when a new, exciting vehicle like this is launched – we financed over 20 in the first month alone – yet interest remains very strong.
The news follows recent comments, including Marlows, on the apparent continued popularity of luxury cars despite the current economic climate, emphasised by the £231m-worth of business completed on high-end vehicles this year by British Car Auctions.
