Remarketing group BCA Marketplace has reported revenue of £1.153m in the 15 months ended 3 April 2016.

The vast majority of the revenue (£688.6m) originated from We Buy Any Car, while £267.2m came from UK Vehicle Remarketing.

The group’s operating profit stood at £16.3m after acquisition costs of £27.4m, depreciation and amortisation of £17m, amortisation of acquired intangibles of £34.4m and other non-recurring costs of £3.4m.

783,000 vehicles were sold in UK Vehicle Remarketing in the year ended 3 April 2016, up 7.9% year-on-year.

The number of vehicles financed by BCA Partner Finance grew over this period and penetration rose to 7% of all BCA vehicles sold in March 2016, resulting in a loan book of £64.7m.

The International Vehicle Remarketing division performed well in the period, recording 333,000 sold vehicles, a growth of 6.4% compared to the prior year.
