Subprime finance provider The Funding Corporation (TFC) is in line for accreditation by workplace surveyors Best Companies.
Best Companies, which supplies The Sunday Times with a list of the Best Companies to Work For in the UK each year, has also placed TFC in its ‘Ones To Watch’ category for 2013.
Accreditation and awards are decided following a confidential survey of a company’s employees and a workplace visit by Best Companies.
Together, the survey and visit assess the worth staff attribute to their employers and their belief in the social benefits brought by their company.

Speaking at the Finance & Leasing Association Motor Finance Convention in November, David Challinor, managing director of TFC, said that while the level of subprime applications and notoriety of subprime risk had risen, his company had pushed for customers to make a "considered and informed" decision about finance.
