Seven-location independent retailer Essex Audi Group has credited a profit of £750,000, April to September, to the installation of Chrysalis-Solmotive’s customer retention management system in seven of its showrooms in March.

Garry Dench, operations director for Essex Audi Group, said: "We had the software installed this year and it took us less than a month to get the system integrated and the staff fully trained.

"From the start of April to the end of September we sold over 300 vehicles and made a gross profit in excess of £750,000 as a result of using the Chrysalis software.

"The system gives us the ability to look through our stock and profile customers to vehicles that we have available so that we can tailor deals specifically to suit our customers."

The results follow those of Swansway Group, which announced a £250,000 boost in October after installing the Chrysalis-Solmotive system.
