Ten Inchcape Retail business managers were successfully assessed against The IMI Accreditation for Finance and Insurance standards.
The awarding body, the Institute of the Motor Industry (The IMI), who has created the accreditation with Alphera Financial Services an awarding centre. Inchcape Group F&I training manager Ian Woodward created a training programme to help Inchcape staff achieve the level to pass the assessments that Alphera set against the IMI Standards.

The assessments are completed over the course of a day and involve a combination of competence-based modules and discussions where knowledge is examined and skills demonstrated. Candidates achieve accreditation by demonstrating in-depth knowledge and following legislative regulations.
