Average prices of wholesale used vans are up
nearly 15 per cent, according to Manheim Remarketing.
Following its latest monthly market analysis,
the average price stands at £4,237 – an increase of 14.7 per cent
since the start of 2010.
In 2009, the rise in average values in the
equivalent first three months was just over 11.3 per cent.
In March 2010, values increased by 5.6 per
cent (£224), following a rise of 4.4 per cent (£169) in
February.
Compared with March 2009, average wholesale
used van prices are up 47.5 per cent (£1,365).
James Davis, general manager of commercial
vehicles at Manheim Auctions said there were no signs of
“traditional seasonal softening of the market”.
