French carmaker Citroën will launch a range of
personal lease packages funded by Banque PSA Finance ahead of
September’s change of registration plate.

Despite a worldwide drop in sales of 10.7%
year-on-year experienced between Citroën
and sister brand Peugeot
, UK sales for both brands have been
buoyant. Year-to-date, both brands have added roughly 2,000 new
registrations to their sales at the same point of 2011.

Launched in 2010, the DS3 has proven Citroën’s
flagship sales model, shifting 10,206 units and accounting for
23.92% of the marque’s new registrations so far this year, and will
be offered at £199 a month on personal lease.

Other models available on the Elect 4 Personal
Lease range from the New C1, at £99 a month, to the DS5, at £349 a
month, and the C3, C4, Picasso models of both, the DS4 and Berlingo
Multispace available in between with a selection of
deposit-dependent 0% APR offers, cashback and insurance
incentives.

A spokesperson for Citroën told Motor
Finance
the personal lease selection was “one of a number of
finance options” available to retail customers with dealer
executives aiming to find “the best type of funding for them based
on their individual circumstances. Personal lease is just another
option for our customers to consider.

“Our dealers’ response to these offers has
been positive; they are fully behind our sales campaigns. Order
take and customer enquiry levels are very encouraging so far in the
run-up to the September plate change.”
