UK business mobility provider Alphabet (GB) has appointed Paul Harkins as Head of Broker Partnerships, as the company continues its broker channel transformation into 2025.

Harkins, who brings extensive leadership and strategic expertise, will take over the role as part of a secondment from his position as regional development manager. He will be supported in the transition by Hollie Crumlish, who is soon to go on maternity leave.

In his new role, Harkins will oversee Alphabet’s broker channel growth strategy, including the company’s upcoming partner-plus event in September, aimed at strengthening its business proposition. This follows the successful broker partner relaunch event in June 2024, where Alphabet introduced a new vision for leasing broker partners and a broker scorecard.

Harkins said: “I’m thrilled to be taking up the role of Head of Broker Partnerships. I love the fleet industry and working closely with our broker partners, so I’m excited to have the opportunity to bring my development skills and broker knowledge to this role.”

Richard Chadwick, Head of Indirect Sales at Alphabet (GB), highlighted the significance of the appointment, stating: “Paul comes into post at a time of huge transformation for our broker business. The sector is both resilient and highly competitive, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to build on the work we presented to our partners last year. Paul will be an asset in his new role as we continue to position Alphabet as a premium funder for our exclusive network of brokers.”

Chadwick also acknowledged Crumlish’s contributions, adding: “It’s important to recognise the work that Hollie has undertaken, which has been fundamental to our achievements so far. On behalf of the team, I want to take the opportunity to wish her and her partner the very best with their new arrival.”
