Kia Motors UK has moved to dedicated headquarters in Walton, Surrey, first announced in January 2013.
Kia expects more than 150 staff to be employed at the Walton premises, where it plans to stay for at least 15 years.
Paul Philpott, president and chief executive of the company, said that "with expected sales of 72,000 this year, it was time to look to the future".
The company said the enhanced facilities and services at the three-story, 31,000 sq ft site would enable it to support the brand’s 175 franchised dealers in the UK.
Speaking to Motor Finance in September, Philpott said he expected the support the brand offered its dealers plus the finance operation run in conjunction with Santander Consumer Finance and Hyundai Capital to achieve the aims of Kia in the UK, namely to become a brand selling 100,000 new cars a year.
