By GlobalDataThe launch of the BCH proposition comes after the success of Nationwide’s used personal contract hire (PCH) product.
With the PCH product, BEVs have consistently accounted for around 16% of Nationwide’s contracts, with some months seeing uptake as high as 40%.
All vehicles within Nationwide’s used EV leasing programme, in collaboration with Broker News partner Lex Autolease, come with a four-year/50,000 miles limit.
Most vehicles are around three years old with nearly 30,000 miles.
When customers enquire, they are given specific details about the age and mileage of the vehicle they are considering.
The competitive pricing, availability of desirable stock compared to new EVs, and inclusive comprehensive maintenance packages are expected to make Nationwide’s used EV BCH proposition attractive to businesses. These maintenance packages cover both servicing and breakdown cover.
Lex Autolease is set to extend its used EV leasing proposition to more brokers as part of its plans to enhance confidence in EVs.
The company already supplies EV stock to several brokers, including loveelectric, The Electric Car Scheme, DriveElectric, Gridserve, and AFL.
