Vertu Motors Group and British Car Auctions (BCA) have unveiled a renewed nationwide remarketing partnership which the two said would continue until 2029.
Under this arrangement, BCA will handle the remarketing of approximately 25,000 vehicles annually for Vertu Motors Plc, which operates under the brands Bristol Street Motors and Macklin Motors. Vertu Motors runs a network of 192 dealerships nationwide, representing several leading automotive brands.
The collaboration will see BCA manage the sale of cars, light commercial vehicles, and motorcycles for Vertu. All eligible vehicles will come with a BCA Assured report and will be sold through BCA’s daily online sales programme. This approach, utilising BCA’s extensive UK network of sales locations, aims to minimise logistics mileage and ensure rapid turnaround from consignment to sale. Furthermore, Vertu will leverage BCA’s AutosOnShow product for imaging and video across its new and used car inventory.
Robert Forrester, CEO of Vertu Motors Plc, remarked that “BCA continues to enhance and improve its range of innovative remarketing programmes,” noting that the partnership will provide “the most efficient volume vehicle remarketing model serving the UK used vehicle sector.” He emphasised that the agreement will support Vertu Motor Group’s growth by delivering an efficient, sustainable, and profitable remarketing platform.
Craig Purvey, Chief Commercial Officer of BCA, said that the agreement would offer buyers “a source of desirable and saleable stock on a daily basis.”
