Ayvens has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with BYD, a new energy vehicle manufacturer, to facilitate the distribution of electric passenger and light commercial vehicles across Europe.
This collaboration aims to cater to both corporate and retail customers.
The agreement will enable Ayvens to offer comprehensive electric vehicle fleet solutions to its European clients. These solutions include advisory, operational leasing, and complete charging services for BYD’s electric vehicle range.
In the first year of their partnership, the companies aim to assist more than 30 European businesses in transitioning to electric fleets.
Ayvens will also provide full-service leasing options to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and private individuals via BYD’s dealership network, under a white-label arrangement.
These operational leasing services will initially be available in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, with plans to extend into additional European markets.

In a separate development, a study by JudgeService has identified BYD as the most recognised new car brand among UK buyers.
The research, which surveyed 1,244 car owners, placed BYD at the forefront of brand awareness, surpassing other new entrants from China, the US, and Vietnam.
BYD’s recognition in the UK is noteworthy, with 13% of survey participants aware of the brand, a figure that eclipses other manufacturers such as Polestar and NIO.
Notably, brands like Rivian, WM Motor, Vin Fast, and Fisker did not register in the survey’s spontaneous awareness rankings.
