The National Skills Academy for Financial Services (NSAFS) has formally accredited the Finance & Leasing Association’s (FLA) Specialist Automotive Finance (SAF) scheme.
The Academy independently assessed the quality of the SAF online competence test and supporting reference material before awarding the SAF its ‘Accredited Programme’ status.

Trevor Child, regional development manager at the NSAFS said "the Academy was particularly impressed with the Specialist Automotive Finance (SAF) course’s relevance to the target audience and the job role together with its clear objectives and outcomes."
The news marks further progress for the scheme, following a warm reception by an all-party parliamentary group and a record period of dealers signing up to it, with over 2,000 showrooms now SAF approved under the scheme, including four-fifths of the largest dealerships.
