Asset and motor finance recovery agency Peak Collections has been awarded a shortfall recovery contract with GMAC UK.

Simon Shuttleworth, director of Peak, said winning the contract marked an "ongoing evolution" of the company’s debt collection work.

Such an evolution, Shuttleworth believed, was underpinned by the case management system Peak launched in 2010 following several years of development.

Shuttleworth commented: "Over the past 24 years of trading, we have refined our services to provide the best and most cost effective results for our clients, resulting in exemplary cure rates on our first phase repossession and charge-off / profit-share volume.

"It is a natural progression to apply these processes to shortfall recovery".
