Britain in 1979 as a truck-financing representative, has been
appointed chief operating officer of the Ford Motor Credit
Company.
Silverstone will be responsible for marketing,
sales and brand, business centre operations, quality and process
management, and insurance operations in North America, Latin
America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa.
The new role, effective 1 January 2012, is the

analysis.
From there, Silverstone became president of
Asia-Pacific credit operations and managing director of Ford
Financial Australia, before returning to the US as vice president
of marketing for Ford Financial North America, then regional
president of Ford Credit Asia Pacific Credit Operations.
Silverstone returned to the UK in 2000 as
executive director of marketing, sales and strategy for Ford
Financial Europe and was responsible for the company’s operations
in 17 European markets as executive director for European sales
